105.9 The House FM and 107.3 My Praise FM listeners are banding together to make Thanksgiving special by giving frozen turkeys to the Salvation Army to pass along to families in need this season. Pictured from left are 105.9 The House FM morning show co-host, Carder Price, donor Shiloh Thomas, and Salvation Army Captain Charlotte Gargis who helped collect for “Turkey 4 Tunes” last year. Listeners are encouraged to stop by to donate a frozen turkey in exchange for a Christmas CD this Saturday. Last year, 519 turkeys were provided by the stations’ listeners in Oklahoma and Kansas and it is hoped that this year even more will be received. One Salvation Army worker said, "This is more than a meal, this turkey is providing a holiday for a family in need.” In addition to the Christmas CD, everyone bringing a turkey will be registered once per turkey for an iPad mini sponsored by Stillwater Armory.
