There are over 100,000 foundations and thousands of corporate-giving programs in America. Hundreds of billions of dollars are given every year for philanthropic causes and even more is given in-kind through products, services, stock and bond transfers, donations of vehicles and land, and much more.
Among Oklahoma’s generous funders is Sarkeys Foundation. Sarkeys Program Officer Diana Hartley will be speaking in Stillwater on Tuesday, September 11 on Grant Writing Tools and Tips. Her succinct presentation takes place from 12:00 - 12:45 PM at The Coffee House East Meeting Room located on the corner of Knoblock and 3rd Avenue.
Hartley is a guest of Toolbar Tuesdays, a free community benefit discussion series designed to strengthen the impact of nonprofits. Toolbar Tuesdays co-host, Quinn Schipper, Executive Director of Stillwater C.A.R.E.S., Inc., says, “Sarkeys is committed to improving the quality of life in Oklahoma and is interested in Stillwater’s future story. The recently acquired Nonprofit Resource Center at the Stillwater Public Library provides a logical place for attendees to immediately implement what they will learn.”
