Supervising the Generations

  • Share:
Name: Supervising the Generations
Date: September 10, 2015
Time: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM CDT
Event Description:
Featured Presenter: Nancy Gunter Have you ever wondered why some people act like they do or say certain things or have certain view points? Part of the reason could be due to the generation that they belong to. All generational presentations are generalizations about groups of people, but it is amazing how accurate they can be! During this presentation you will discover characteristics and traits about 5 generations (including the one being formed right now). You will learn how, overall, each generation thinks and what causes them to view life as they do. We will also discuss clash points between the generations and how to most effectively manage these if you supervise these generations. Last, we will look at the youngest generation, the one growing up now, and consider what might be coming into our programs and our workforce. You will walk away from this session with some wonderful knowledge of how to improve as a supervisor of multiple generations.
