Beginning Monday, Nov. 11, at 4 p.m., teens will begin work selecting the finalists for the first time in what the library hopes will be an annual event.  Those who participate in this special book club will receive a list of the top reviewed books of the year so far.  Teens will read titles from that list and meet monthly between November and March to discuss and whittle down the list to the 3-5 finalists.

Voting will open throughout the month of March for all Stillwater teens to vote on what they feel is the best book of the previous year.  Efforts will be made to secure a Skype visit with the winning author.

•             Winger by Andrew Smith

•             Far Far Away by Tom McNeal

•             Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys

•             The Tragedy Paper by Elizabeth Laban

•             Just One Day by Gayle Forman

•             Zebra Forest by Adina Rishe Gewirtz

•             Doll Bones by Holly Black

•             Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick

•             Seven Wonders: The Colossus Rises by Peter Larangis

•             Paperboy by Vince Vawter

•             Navigating Early by Clare Vanderpool
