The Sheerar Museum of Stillwater History will be closed until May 6, 2013 to install the third and final phase of the exhibit bays redesign and an all new exhibit of “Stillwater Art”, a new exhibit of various works of art from the Sheerar Museum's collection focused on the theme of memory and how people explore and celebrate those memories through various forms of art. 

The Museum will reopen the gallery on May 7, 2013 with regular hours of operation 11am-5pm Tuesday through Friday, 1pm-4pm Saturday and Sunday. 

The Stillwater Museum Association Board of Trustees will host a special Exhibit Grand Opening reception on Thursday May 9, 2013 from 5pm-7pm.  “We are excited for the big reveal of all the hard work that has gone into this project,” said Ammie Bryant, Director of the Sheerar Museum of Stillwater History.
