The theme this year "Christmas and Candy Canes" is open to a lot of ideas. There are many ways you can decorate with a Candy Cane, and of course there are many Christmas Carols. Come up with your own idea, your own take on the theme or join in on the fun. 

The parade will take place at night, and therefore lights are required. You also have the choice of entering the competition or joining in on the fun. The categories include; Float, Group or band. Cash prizes are given to the top 3 of each category, as well as the winner of the "best use of theme" and "best use of lights division". The 1st place winner of the Float category, will also have the honor of escorting Santa in the 2012 parade.

The Stillwater Christmas Parade, benefits Operation Christmas (a project of the Stillwater Junior Service League that benefits families in the Payne County Area). Therefore the entry fee for the parade is a $25 cash donation or a toy of equal value.

Sponsorships are $150, and go toward the prizes given for the competition, as well as an operating fee.
