Join the Perkins Chamber of Commerce for this wonderful, annual tradition. Pistol Pete Race begins at 8:00 AM, Vendor Booths open at 9:00 AM, Entertainment begins at 9:45 AM and the parade will begin at 11:00 AM. The Parade Marshall this year will be long-time Perkins resident and school bus driver, Betty Harper. Entertainment will consist of Jason Savory, gunfighters, Jeannie Troxel and the Rhythm Alley dancers. There will be pony rides, free games for kids sponsored by First Baptist Church, a photo booth, and for those college sports enthusiasts, DISH Network will be live-streaming college games.
