The Botanic Garden at OSU is pleased to host this event on behalf of the Oklahoma Natural Plant Society.  A potluck will start at 6:15pm in the Education Building at The Botanic Garden followed by a speaker presentation.  Joseph Tychonievich will be speaking on the topic ‘Why Hummingbirds Like Red Flowers:  Plants, Pollinators and Why They Matter.  Joseph Tychonievich is an author of ‘Plant Breeding for the Home Gardener’; he lives and works in Michigan where he works at Alpines Rare Plants Nursery, writes about gardening and produces a gardening podcast.  Open to the public and free!  Contact Laura Payne with any questions at (405) 744-4531 or laura.payne@okstate.edu
