On Thursday, September 18, 2014, the Sheerar Museum of Stillwater History will open a new exhibit. "Notorious Payne County" will examine the outlaw history of the area before statehood. The Sheerar Museum’s Board of Trustees will host a special reception in the evening from 5pm-7pm to officially open the new exhibit.
