My Dentist is celebrating its 50th practice opening in Stillwater, OK, this month and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Dr. Pat Steffen, who passed away in August 2012, founded My Dentist in 1983 in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and has since expanded to serve 5 states - Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
Dr. Steffen’s vision was to create a family dental practice that provided the best care to patients by investing in the education of the dentists and staff, while instilling a work ethic to give the highest quality of care from the office manager to the dental hygienist
“It is incredibly exciting and means so much to our family to open out 50th practice here in Oklahoma where it all began,” said Dr. Jennifer Chambers, Chief Dental Director at My Dentist, and niece of founder Dr. Steffen
Under Dr. Chambers lead, My Dentist has grown 30 percent over the past year. In every location, whether a large city like Kansas City or a small community like Ardmore, Oklahoma, Dr. Chambers works tirelessly to fulfill her uncle’s vision of building a successful and caring family practice.
We plan to have a full day of pomp and circumstance in Stillwater, Oklahoma on August 12th as we officially open the doors for business that morning. Not limited to Stillwater though, each of our My Dentist offices will be in the festive spirit displaying posters and decorations illustrating just how instrumental each one of them are to the continued growth and success of the My Dentist Organization!
