Event Description:
The 2014 Tour de Dirt season finale cross country mountain bike race is once again at Lake McMurtry. The race course is nearly 7 miles of rugged, rolling, tight, fast single-track. The race course will be open and marked on the weekend prior to the race. Proceeds from this race benefit the Lake McMurtry trail system. Concessions benefit Lake McMurtry Friends. Race brought to you by Crunch Productions and Red Dirt Pedalers, with support from the OSU Cycling Club. REGISTRATION ONLINE now through October 31st at www.usacycling.org. Pro/Cat 1 - $30, Cat 2 - $30, Cat 3 - $25, Juniors - $20, Day of race +$5.00. One-day USAC License - $10 Tour de Dirt Race Number Plate - $5 Must be presented at registration Race day registration opens at 8:00 am and must be completed at least 30 minutes before your posted start time. No exceptions. Awards for Pro/Cat 1 ? 100% cash payout at 40% deep, all others ? awards/medals
Location:
Race located on the east side of Lake McMurtry, near Stillwater, OK. From Tulsa take Highway 412/Cimarron Turnpike west and follow signs to Stillwater. Take very last exit to Highway 177 South and immediately turn west on McMurtry Rd. Follow McMurtry Rd to the lake. From I-35, take exit 174 to Stillwater, turn left at first traffic light onto Country Club Rd. Follow north to the end (5 miles) and turn left onto McMurtry Rd. Follow McMurtry Rd to the lake.
