Gardiner Gallery at the Bartlett Center for the Visual Arts. China: Lost/Found, Photography by Ka Chuen Yeung features 38 color and monochromatic digital prints that represent the contrast between Yeung’s vision of a lost and impermanent China in the late 1990s with a new perspective captured through the face of Chinese citizens today.
The exhibition will be on view from Aug. 19 – Sept. 27, with an opening reception and talk from the artist on Thursday, Aug. 29 from 5 – 7 pm. The exhibition will also be accompanied by a film series, gallery talk, workshop with the artist, and more. All are free and open to the public.
