The Stillwater Public Library will host a free workshop for students, artists, researchers, and other individual grantseekers looking for funding from foundations, corporations, and public charities.   

The resources which make up the library’s Nonprofit Resource Center were provided through a two year grant from the Stillwater Community Endowment Fund.

The workshop will include an overview of these resources, including a demonstration of “Foundation Grants to Individuals Online,” which is a searchable database that provides information on more than 8,500 grantmakers that support individual grant projects.  

“We’ve had the resources now for a year and a half,” said Freeman.  “We are hoping that the community will come to the program to learn how to take advantage of these amazing tools and use them while we still have them.”
