Do you need to declutter? The drive-thru shred is a great opportunity for community members to securely dispose of their sensitive documents. Participants may bring up to two copy paper sized boxes of material. Paperclips and staples do NOT need to be removed. The event is held in the library parking lot. Cars drive through the lot to the truck where material is unloaded by volunteers and shredded on-site. The secure shredding service is provided by Shred-Away Shredding. They use a multiple cutting method to ensure the safe disposal of your material. The event is free and open to the public, but donations are gratefully accepted to help offset the cost of the shredding service. Staff and volunteers will be wearing masks for your safety and we ask that you wear a mask for ours. In the instance of inclement weather (heavy rain, snow, ice, ) the event will be rescheduled for the following Saturday, March 6 for the same time frame.
