This Saturday, April 19th, at Stillwater Old Navy, Wings of Hope is having an event for awareness. 9:30am-2pm. We are doing an event for Denim Day/Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Please see the history of Denim Day at this address: http://denimdayusa.org/about/history/
We wear our Denim to support survivors of Sexual Assault/Rape.
Old Navy is partnering up with Wings of Hope and allowing us to have volunteers/staff wear Old Navy Denim and model their fashions in the window--essentially being Live Mannequins. The Mannequins/Models will hold up Healthy Relationship Signs.
Outside of Old Navy, we will have a table with information on it about Prevention, WOH Services and SAAM events. We will also sell Denim Day Stickers for $1.00. Proceeds will go to Wings of Hope. If a customer wears the sticker on April 26th (Saturday), Old Navy will honor it and give the customer a 10% discount off of Old Navy Denim Attire.
