The Stillwater History Museum at the Stillwater Sheerar will be holding the "Cool Classics" Concert Series in the Sheerar Cultural Center Auditorium located at 7th and Duncan Street. A new addition to this year's series will be performing by the OK Strings on July 13th. This group was put together by Kaleb Benda and is accompanied by Jose Batty, Cheyenne Rains, Scotty Scott, Ryan Kyker and Maria Marcos. This concert will be followed by a reception hosted by the Daughters of the American Revoluntion.
Each concert starts at 7:30, but it is wise to arrive early to ensure a seat. The museum, located on the lower level, will also be open late for exhibit viewing until each concert starts.
The "Cool Classics" Summer Concert Series is supported in part by the Oklahoma Arts Council, which receives support from the State of Oklahoma and the National Endowment for the Arts.
The museum is located at 702 S. Duncan. It is open to the public Tuesdays-Fridays 11am - 5pm and Saturday and Sundays from 1pm - 4pm. Admission is free.
