Make plans to celebrate Independence Day this year at the free Chickasaw Boomer Blast Fourth of July Fireworks Show presented by the City of Stillwater. The 20-minute fireworks show begins at 9:35 p.m.
This year fireworks will shoot from Lakeview bridge, and guests can watch the show from Stillwater High School Pioneer Stadium, which opens at 8 p.m.
Boomer Lake Park will be open to pedestrians on Wednesday, July 4; however, the park will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at noon July 4.
Guests can bring lawn chairs, play at the splash pad and watch the fireworks from inside the park.
Parking is available at Pioneer Stadium, Cimarron Plaza and along public streets.
Also, a shuttle service to the park will be provided. Shuttles service will be available to and from the Pioneer Stadium to Boomer Lake's south entrance on Lakeview. Shuttle rides will begin at 7 p.m.
