Join the crowd.
Crowdsource funding, an online process of soliciting small amounts of money from a large group of outside individuals, is taking the small business market by storm. Recent changes to the laws covering investors will make it even more useful for future business startups.
Bob Cohen, CEO of Braintree Business Development Center, a technology business incubator and entrepreneurship center in northeast Ohio, will be the featured speaker at the August 15 Business for Breakfaster series at Meridian Technology Center.
Cohen will share how crowdsource funding can help small businesses do big things. Participants will have an opportunity to learn the basics of crowdsource funding, examine crowdsource funding sites and successful campaigns, and discover how crowdsource funding is applicable to small businesses owners and entrepreneurs.
To attend the August 15 Business for Breakfast event, please contact Diane Maddox at dianem@meridiantech.edu or call (405) 377-2220. An RSVP is strongly encouraged.
