Coming back from the holidays the blood inventory levels area always a struggle to maintain at a constant level to be “comfortable” for our hospital needs.  However, just because people take a break from donating blood during the holidays because they are off work or because they are traveling doesn’t mean that patients take a break from needing blood products.
