Harris-Wyrick, the director of the Kirkpatrick Planetarium of Science Museum in Oklahoma City, is also a paranormal science buff and will discuss his books and ghostly findings at the event.
“I have always been fascinated with ghosts,” said Harris-Wyrick. “About 20 years ago, I learned that people were able to capture ghostly voices on recorders. After trying it myself, I am more convinced than ever that entities from other dimensions or, whatever, can interact with us by some means we do not understand.”
Harris-Wyrick is a member of INsight Paranormal and has been on dozens of investigations. He has made some unique paranormal investigation equipment for the group.
When not at the Planetarium, where he is known as the “Celestial Wizard,” or hunting ghosts, Harris-Wyrick can be found writing. He has published over three hundred articles and most recently began writing children’s books.
Harris-Wyrick’s first book, "Why Am I Me?,” helps answer children’s questions about where they fit in the world and the universe. His second picture book, “Kimmy Finds Her Key,” comes out this month. He has two more scheduled to be published over the next several months.
