The Payne County Bar Association and Stillwater Public Library will co-host the 2013 “Ask-a-Lawyer” event which is part of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s statewide Law Day activities. Local attorneys will be on hand for free face to face meetings from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, on the third floor of the library.
This year marks the eighth in-person “Ask-a-Lawyer” event in Payne County and is one of just a few in-person events in the state.
Attorneys will provide advice in most areas of law, including family, criminal, wills, estates, trusts, bankruptcy, property, personal injury, business and more. Attorneys will not be able to answer case specific questions regarding pending legal actions.
“Ask-a-Lawyer” is free and open to the public.
Meetings are confidential and will be taken on a first come, first serve basis, so no appointment is necessary. For more information, call (405) 372-3633, visit the web site at http://library.stillwater.org or e-mail askalibrarian@stillwater.org.
