2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, 6:00 – 9:00 pm, For ages 16 and up. Instructor: Buck Dollarhide.Buck will begin teaching a new curriculum, with two new topics each month. April, “Making and applying terra sigillata,” and “Preparing vessels for primitive firing;” May, “Texturing—Making and using stamps, chattering,” and “Glazing techniques;” June, “Reducing cracking/warping,” and “Making a clay whistle (‘ocarina’)”. Class Fee: For all months except April 2015, $60.00 per month; for April 2015, the fee will be $80.00 (with the extra $20.00 payable directly to Buck). The enrollment fee includes 2 mini-workshops with Buck, and unlimited open studio time during the month of enrollment. Supply Fee: One 25 pound bag of clay for each month of enrollment is included; additional bags available for purchase.
