Oklahoma State Athletics Update

Join us to hear from Oklahoma State Athletic Director, Chad Weiberg, as he addresses Oklahoma State's new $325 million dollar Athletics Vision Plan. The plan includes a new football operations center, a new wrestling training facility, a new softball stadium, an indoor track, a new training center for basketball, upgrades to the Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center and to Karsten Creek Golf Course.

Chad Weiberg assumed the role of Oklahoma State Vice President and Athletic Director in July of 2021 after having spent the previous four years serving as OSU’s Deputy Athletic Director. In his role, Weiberg serves on President Kayse Shrum’s leadership team, which helps advance Oklahoma State’s land grant mission and President Shrum’s strategic initiatives for the institution.

Since moving into the AD chair, Weiberg has announced OSU Athletics’ Vision Plan, which will affect every athlete on campus, led OSU into the NIL era by establishing partnerships across campus and throughout the state, launched the Cowboy VIP program for the department’s highest levels of giving, formed the Student-Athlete Development division of OSU Athletics, re initiated the OSU Athletics Hall of Honor and helped lead Oklahoma State through the continuing turmoil of conference realignment.

Weiberg is a 1994 OSU graduate with a degree in business administration. He earned an MBA from OSU in 2002. His early career path included stints with the OSU Alumni Association and Foundation.Chad and his wife, Jodi, have two children: Ella and Grant
