Strategies to Help Stop the Great Resignation

Come hear how OKIE811 maintained an incredibly high retention rate during the Great Resignation period (the highest “quit rate” the U.S.has seen in 20 years). Susan will share strategies that were implemented along the way which helped cultivate trust and engagement with employees.

Ms. Bohl is the Executive Director for Oklahoma One-Call, also known as OKIE811. OKIE811 is a non-profit 501(c)6 corporation established in 1979 as part of Oklahoma’s Underground Damage Prevention Legislation concerning Calling Before You Dig. She is a member of the Common Ground Alliance, OKC Pipeliners, Oklahoma Gas Association and serves as Chair of the Facilities Notification Centers Association. Susan has served in her role as Executive Director for over 9 years, has 18 years of Executive Management experience with a total of 24 years managing programs, people and processes. Before coming to OKIE811, she worked as Chief Operations Officer for Girl Scouts; Information Technology Director for the State of Oklahoma – Department of Human Services; Risk Information Manager for Fleming Companies; and for First National Bank of Midwest City. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Computer Science from the University of Central Oklahoma and currently resides in Edmond Oklahoma with her husband.
