The Stillwater Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Payne County LiveWell Coalition to put on a community-wide steps challenge for all Stillwater businesses, organizations, and community members. Those involved in this friendly competition will have the month of October to compete for weekly prize drawings, free swag and most important bragging rights by ways of walking, running or staying active.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 8TH!
The goal of WALKTOBER is to encourage people to move more and to be more active, fostering healthier and happier lifestyles. Participants sign up in teams of five to promote teamwork, accountability and motivation within each team. Past participants say this challenge is exactly what they needed to kick-start sustainable lifestyle changes through creating healthier habits for themselves and their family.
