Join us as we kick off our 2021 events with the January Business @Lunch by welcoming Stillwater Public Schools’ Superintendent, Dr. Marc Moore as he shares information about ongoing construction projects, school board elections and the state of education. Despite how uncertain 2020 was, there were many SPS achievements in academics, victories in sports and many wonderful accomplishments to be celebrated.
A native Oklahoman, Dr. Marc Moore has more than 20 years of experience as a school superintendent. Prior to coming to Stillwater, Moore served as the superintendent in the Shawnee area for 14 year, a school district of roughly 4,000 students, since 2011. Before that, he was superintendent at North Rock Creek School in Shawnee for nine years. He joined Stillwater Public Schools in July of 2016. He earned his doctoral degree in educational leadership from Oral Roberts University, his master’s degree in educational management from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and his bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Business@Lunch combines building relationships and making connections with business education. For many years, members have selected this event as the most beneficial program the Chamber provides. Each month, the program features speakers and presenters who provide important information about the community, leadership training and other business-related tools.
