Event Description:

The OSU Black Alumni Society has named OSU's first African American basketball player its 2013 Trailblazer Award honoree. L.C. Gordon enrolled at Oklahoma A&M in 1957 and played for legendary Coach Henry Iba. He graduated in 1961 with a bachelor's degree in secondary education.

A public reception honoring Gordon will be held on Friday, Oct. 18 as part of the Black Alumni Reunion and Scholarship Golf Tournament.
