Event Description:
Instructor Barbara Wells will teach participants the basics of several 1920s dance styles, including the Foxtrot, Single-time Swing, and Charleston. The dances will come in handy at our finale jazz dance! NOTE: Please do not wear high heels. Attendees get a chance to win two tickets to Town and Gown's production of "The Great Gatsby." The program is free and open to people 12 years old and over. A program of "Two Books, One Community: The Great Gatsby & Fire in Beulah." Funding in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
