The Stillwater History Museum at the Stillwater Sheerar will be holding the "Cool Classics" Concert Series in the Sheerar Cultural Center Auditorium located at 7th and Duncan Street. On July 20th, we will be featuring a performance by Perry Gethner on piano who will perform World War i era music. The concert will be followed by a reception hosted by the Payne County Historical Society.
Each concert starts at 7:30, but it is wise to arrive early to ensure a seat. The museum, located on the lower level, will also be open late for exhibit viewing until each concert starts.
The "Cool Classics" Summer Concert Series is supported in part by the Oklahoma Arts Council, which receives support from the State of Oklahoma and the National Endowment for the Arts.
The museum is located at 702 S. Duncan. It is open to the public Tuesdays-Fridays 11am - 5pm and Saturday and Sundays from 1pm - 4pm. Admission is free.
