Cookbook Club Feb. 14, Mar. 14, April 11, May 9 6:30-8 pm Prairie Arts Kitchen It’s a book club, but for foodies! We’ll pick a cookbook or theme, make recipes, then meet to share food, discuss the results, and learn cooking tips. The club takes place on 2nd Thursdays from Feb. 14-May 9 from 6:30-8 pm at the Prairie Arts Center’s kitchen (1001 S. Duck). The first meeting on Feb. 14 will focus on recipes by Anthony Bourdain. Participants can make any Bourdain recipe to cook and share with the group. The Adult Help Desk has his last cookbook “Appetites” on reserve if participants need inspiration or want to photocopy a recipe. We’ll also send out some links with resources prior to the event. We will provide plates, utensils, napkins and drinks. Future themes will be selected by participants. club goes. Space is limited. Registration is required. Sign-up here.
