Name: Ask a Lawyer
Date: May 3, 2019
Time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM CDT
Event Description:
Ask-a-Lawyer Friday, May 3 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Not sure if it is okay to cut down the neighbor’s branches? Concerned about whether the dusty will in the desk drawer is valid? Deciding whether to form an S corporation or an LLC? Attorneys from the Payne County Bar Association will be at the Stillwater Public Library on Friday, May 3, to answer these legal questions and many more from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Community members are invited to meet one-on-one with a local attorney to ask questions free of charge, including those about consumer problems, family law, estate planning, personal injury, criminal issues or most other legal situations. Attorneys will give each participant confidential advice on the steps needed to resolve their legal problems. Ask-a-Lawyer is open to the public on a first come, first served basis. Please bring any documents pertinent to the legal issue. Although most questions can be fielded, those issues currently in litigation cannot be answered.
