At this month's Government Affairs meeting, we will hear from Melissa Reames, the City of Stillwater's chief financial officer. This session will give members the opportunity to provide input on the budget for the next fiscal year as well as learn about how aspects of the budget will affect Stillwater's businesses and community.
The purpose of the Government Affairs Committee is to develop the Chamber's Annual Legislative Agenda on behalf of the business community for advocacy at city, state and federal levels. The committee faciliates legislative programs and work with public officals to communicate needs of the business community.
